WorldSkills Australia Regional Comps

Winner stories from WorldSkills Regional Competitions, being held this year, are starting to filter through the media.

Congratulations to Adam Lucke of the Bundaberg region who won in the Electrical Apprentice category and to Abbie Bills who claimed first place in the Beauty Therapy category in the Port Macquarie region.

Regional competitions are held every two years in 29 regions across the nation. These competitions mark the initial stage in the WorldSkills competition cycle, providing winning competitors the chance to advance to the national level.

The competitions provide young skilled apprentices and trainees with an opportunity to represent their local community and gain experience in their respective trade or skill.
