My name is Carlee Bamford, I'm 21 from Perth and just qualified as a pastry chef. I’m really excited about the scholarship and the leadership course which sounds like heaps of fun. I’m planning on staying in the UK for as long as possible and see and learn as much as I can.

International Work Experience

I hope to gain as much experience in the pastry, chocolate and sugar work to become a world class pastry chef. UK has some of the most amazing patisseries in the world and working for any one of them would be an amazing experience, even some of the top hotels produce beautiful desserts. So anything that could broaden my pasty skills and knowledge.

I have been told by many people that if I really wish to succeed in this industry I have to train under a very diverse range of chefs which will teach me a lot of new things. I love a challenge and think that this will push me out of my comfort zone.
