I AM… Keeping it Green

The 2014 Green Team will comprise of Environmental Monitoring students from Challenger Institute of Technology and managed by Project Manager of Sustainable Development at Challenger, Pascaline Owers.

This year, Green Team will trial an even more robust approach to assessing the comparative sustainability of each participating category at the National Competition.

During the event, Green Team will be conducting audit interviews with all of the trade and skill categories where they will be collecting environmental, social and economic performance data about each area.

Green Team will also be reviewing the design of the competition projects for innovative eco-efficiency, industry best practice and consumer appeal.

The results from the 2014 Green Team Survey will determine the winner of the ‘Skills for Sustainability Award’, which will be presented to the most economically, socially and environmentally sustainable category at the Official Closing Ceremony on Sunday 21st of September.

The results from Green Team will be published on the WorldSkills Australia website following the 2014 WorldSkills Australia National Competition.
