Volunteer of the Month

Ron “Ronny” Stewart has been volunteering for WorldSkills Australia since 2006.

Although never holding the title of  Category Judge or Project Designer, Ron has always volunteered his valuable time for WSA.

Ron has worked with WSA and the site crew at the 2006, 2008 & 2010  National Competitions and has already started producing new Jewellery benches for the upcoming 2012 National Competition.

He was instrumental in the construction of the sustainable display house at the 2008 National Competition. Ron also worked tirelessly at the 2010 Cataract Scout Camp to deliver what became the worlds biggest Try’aTrade, coordinating the construction of 45 dog kennels which were built by 10,000 scouts and donated to the NSW RSPCA.

Ron has travelled the globe supporting WSA at International Competitions, and is always willing to do whatever he can to help the Team Australia Skillaroos.
