Skillaroos
The Skillaroos are a team of Australia’s young skill and trades people selected from the country’s best.
Each member of the Skillaroos has had to prove their worth by receiving a medal winning place at the WorldSkills Regional and National Competitions. The Skillaroos are representatives of Australia’s training, education and industry on the world stage and each year leave a legacy of skills excellence.
The 2007 Skillaroos are 27 national medallists who succeeded at the 2006 WorldSkills National Competition. They will represent Australia in 24 different trade and skill categories at the International Competition in Shizuoka, Japan in front of an expected 200,000 spectators and against 48 other countries.
