WorldSkills Australia: Empowering Excellence in Young Australians Since 1981
We believe that skills drive the future of young people and Australia. Since 1981, we’ve championed skills excellence in vocational, technological and service-oriented careers and helped over 100,000 people compete in national and international skill competitions. We’re passionate because skills grow careers, foster life-long partnerships, and build successful communities!
Help the 2024 Team Australia
These talented young individuals have earned the remarkable opportunity to potentially represent Australia at the prestigious 47th WorldSkills International Championships in Lyon, France, in September 2024. They’ve been chosen as members of the Skillaroo Training Squad, aspiring to showcase Australian skills on a global stage.
Support Team Australia in their quest to demonstrate Australian skills excellence by contributing to their journey to the WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, where they’ll compete against the world’s best and bring pride to our nation. Your generous donations will be used to help the team to continue their intensive training program as well as help cover competition expenses such as flights, accommodation, meals and uniforms and insurances.

Hosted regionally, nationally, and internationally, we’re the skills ‘Olympics’ that work to benchmark industry excellence at home and across the globe. Get involved today. Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! Skills! Skills! Skills!

We’re supporting the next generation of industry experts! We provide skilled young people with development opportunities to help them achieve excellence. We currently offer multiple scholarships and development pathways that provide overseas travel, study options, work experience, or financial support. Skill Promotion
We’re on a mission to raise the profile of skills. To ensure the prosperity of young Australians and Australia, we’re championing the importance of vocational training and skill excellence. Our communications, competitions, and partnerships all work together to help us showcase the value of skills and demonstrate how they provide rewarding career opportunities. See how we’re getting the word out about skills and trades.
