WorldSkills Australia (WSA) has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Refrigerant Reclaim Australia which has spanned over 15 years.

In addition to their core aim, which is to improve the industry’s environmental performance by reducing the level of emissions of refrigerants through its take-back program, Refrigerant Reclaim Australia is also concerned with raising the profile, status and skill-standards of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry.

Refrigerant Reclaim Australia came on board to support the Refrigeration category in 1997 and since then have been an integral partner in ensuring the ongoing success of the WSA Refrigeration category at a national and international level.

As a major category partner of the WSA National Refrigeration Competition, the generous support of Refrigerant Reclaim Australia has been imperative in allowing WSA to be able to host what has become a highly successful industry-specific National Competition.

At an international level, Refrigerant Reclaim Australia provides essential funding for the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Skillaroo. This funding assists with all training, preparation and other associated costs involved in sending an Australian representative to the International Competition.

It is this very support which has seen the Refrigeration category achieve incredible results at an international level including four gold medals, two silvers and five medallions of excellence.
