Volunteer Position: TOUR LEADER

Position Vacant: OFFICIAL SKILLAROOS SUPPORTERS GROUP TOUR LEADER

WorldSkills Australia invites applications for the voluntary role of the ‘Official Supporters Group Tour Leader’ (2) for Team Australia and the Skillaroos competing at the WorldSkills Competition Kazan 2019.

The competition will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre from 23 – 26 August 2019. The Skillaroos will be selected from the current 24-member Skills Squad and will compete against currently 59 registered member nations. Australia currently ranks 10th in the world with the 2017 Skillaroos achieving silver medals in Carpentry and Industrial Mechanics Millwright and Bronze medals in Beauty Therapy and Bricklaying.

The successful applicant/s will be the main contact for the Official Supporters Group including prior to departure, during the competition and post departure from Kazan, Russia.

As the Official Supporter Group Tour Leader – WorldSkills Australia will provide accommodation, transfers, and meals (Land Package) and return flights. The Land Package will be the same as the Official Supporters Group package, with accommodation located in the same hotel. It is essential that return flights be at the same or similar times as the Official Supporters Group to ensure that they are able to be accessible and contactable easily by the members of the Official Supporters Group.
