Automotive Body Repair Technicians primarily repair and maintain vehicles in the Automotive industry, including cars, heavy vehicles and other vehicles.

Workers need to be comfortable with technology and heavy machinery, with good precision and high attention to detail.

The WorldSkills Australia Autobody Repair Competition requires the Competitor to perform at the level of an Apprentice in terms of skills and knowledge. Competitors must demonstrate skilled operations work in the use of hand tools and general equipment and complete an autobody repair project within the time constraint.
