Additive Manufacturing is one of the newest and fast developing branch of engineering. Unlike traditional manufacturing methods, in Additive Manufacturing objects are “buillt” by adding layer-upon layer of material, and this extends engineering capabilities and significantly complements turning and milling machining.
The WorldSkills Australia Additive Manufacturing Competition focuses on the skills required to achieve transformation in industrial production that enables the creation of lighter, stronger parts and systems.
