Primary industry workers produce essential goods and services that support everyday life, carrying out tasks such as operating machinery, managing crops and livestock, and maintaining farm infrastructure across diverse agricultural environments.

People working in Primary Industries provide vital products and services which influence the daily lives of all members of society. Examples of work in the field include operating tractors and other machinery, breeding and caring for livestock; planting, treating and harvesting crops; and building and maintaining farm machinery and infrastructure, such as fences.

The Primary Industries VETiS Competition will test Competitors across mixed farming enterprises, including cropping and livestock.
