2014 WorldSkills Champions Forum & General Assembly

The WorldSkills Champions Forum, formerly known as the Youth Forum, aims to actively encourage and support the growth of past competitor alumni networks and associated youth activities within WorldSkills International and its Member countries.

This year the 2014 WorldSkills Champions Forum will be held in Lucerne, Switzerland from the 14th to the 19th of September.

The event will take WorldSkills Champions through a series of facilitated sessions and group work activities to discuss ways in which champions can stay involved and engaged with WorldSkills.

Nominated to represent Australia at the forum is 2013 Beauty Care SkillarooHannah Colquhoun. Hannah competed last year at the 2nd WorldSkills International Competition held in Leipzig, Germany where she was awarded a Medallion of Excellence.

Running in conjunction with the WorldSkills Champions Forum will be the WorldSkills International General Assembly. The General Assembly will be held from the 13th to the 18th of September and will include the meetings of WorldSkills International Technical and Strategy Committees, comprised of the Technical and Official Delegates respectively, representing each WorldSkills Member Country/Region.

Attending the WorldSkills General Assembly on behalf of Australia will be our Technical Delegate, Brigitte Collins.
