WorldSkills Australia continues to raise awareness and promote respect of a skills culture across Australia. We do this by conducting Australia’s most prestigious skills and trade competitions which offer more than just medals as rewards.
How WSA Programs are Supported
The WorldSkills Australia journey offers increased skills, exposure to work practices from outside the workplace and place of training, increased communication skills, independent thinking and problem solving skills, motivation, personal organisation, development of teamwork and leadership skills, as well as the opportunity to work with the most highly motivated trainers and industry leaders in the country who volunteer countless hours in additional skill training.
At WorldSkills Australia, we hope to inspire organisations through displaying the inherent nation building skills demonstrated by the extraordinary young craftsmen and women that compete in WorldSkills competitions. We hope that their story encourages potential sponsors to align their company with skills excellence thereby helping to ensure the future economic prosperity of Australia.
