Introducing you to Jasmine Gordon, a talented young beauty therapist from Alice Springs, NT, who today becomes our 8th revealed 2014 National Competitor.

Jasmine, who attended Charles Darwin University and is currently employed by Beaute` on the Mall, will also be vying for a coveted position on the 2015 Team Australia Skillaroos who will head to São Paulo, Brazil for the 43rd WorldSkills International Competition, the culmination of WorldSkills competitions.
“I was really shocked and then ecstatic when I found out that I had won the Regional Competition, it was something I had really hoped for but wasn’t expecting. I’m really nervous but also super excited to compete again at the National Competition, I know it will be an awesome experience,” says Jasmine on progressing to the 2014 WorldSkills Australia National Competition in Perth.
Jasmine will continue to work closely with her employer and trainer to help prepare and refine her skills. “I’ve been getting advice from other therapists about their techniques so I can maybe incorporate them into my own, hopefully to improve and build on my skills. I’ve also been practicing a lot,” says Jasmine.
