Refrigeration Competition begins!

Today WorldSkills Australia (WSA) welcomed 10 of the nation’s most talented refrigeration technicians to the 2014 WSA National Refrigeration Competition, which is being held at the Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Building Services (ARBS) expo in Melbourne.

Each of the National Competitors have earned their position to compete in the National Competition following their medal winning performances in the 2013 round of WSA regional competitions.

Over three days of competition, the competitors will be required to complete three different modules including a refrigeration installation module, an electrical and refrigeration fault finding component and an air conditioning commissioning project.

Day one was a great success – attracting impressive and intrigued spectators, who watched intently as the competitors aimed to get off to the best possible start to put them in good stead for the remaining two days of competition.
