Skillaroos visit the Australian Embassy in Berlin

During their short time in Berlin the 2013 Team Australia Skillaroos were hosted for a traditional Australian morning tea at the Australian Embassy located in the city centre.

Sue McQualter, Consul for the Australian Embassy in Berlin, passed on her congratulations and well wishes to the team for the International Competition before treating them to a guided tour of the building.

“It’s been very interesting,  it’s a one hundred year old building and the fact that the building was still standing after everything was leveled from the world war, was really interesting to learn. It’s been great knowing that we have a safe place to go in foreign country and learning about that from Sue,” said Ashleigh Huntley of her experience at the embassy.”
