It has also been a great opportunity for Vantage Automotive to appreciate the planning and preparation from WorldSkills Australia on a global scale.

In early 2018 Vantage Automotive increased their support to WorldSkills Australia when they were asked if they could support the Skills Show Australia, in Sydney. By utilising the partnerships Vantage Automotive has with a number of prestige clients they were able to supply twelve vehicles to support with judging, including two of the latest Volvos for the Automotive Electrical competition. In addition, Vantage Automotive also supported the judging panel by supplying a number of Technical Trainers.

Gary Davenport, General Manager for Vantage Automotive commented “It was great to so many young people in one place demonstrating such a high level of skills across a large number of VET trades”

During the three day event, Vantage Automotive where able to see the value of the event and the benefits it has for the young people who are competing.
