Choose three words that best describe you.
Creative, curious, easygoing

What do you enjoy most about your trade/skill?
I enjoy the entire process from planning the production to sewing the final product. I think being able to create a complete 3D form for the body from a simple idea or sketch is pretty interesting.

What has been your favourite part of your WorldSkills Australia experience?
My favourite part would have to be all the people I met. I thought it was nice how everyone supported one another, and I found it really interesting learning about the other teammate’s trades and what was involved in completing their modules.

What type of work experience would you like to undertake in the UK?
I hope to gain a clearer sense of direction, as I know there is so much more to learn and experience in the international fashion industry. Being exposed to a wider scope of fashion technology would allow me to, perhaps, find strengths in areas I am not yet aware of, and would like to explore further.

Tell us one thing that most people don’t know about you.
As I was growing up, I had the opportunity to live in Germany and attend school for a semester.

If you had one unlimited resource at your disposal for one day, what would it be and what would you do?
I think I would do something that would allow me to travel. I think it’s very important to see the world and different cultures – it lets us open our minds to new things and we get to experience life in different ways.

What is the funniest question you expect to be asked about Australia?
Do people keep koalas as domesticated pets?

You’re on your way to the UK so it has to be asked: Vegemite or Marmite?
Vegemite.
