Your typical country man, Brad Ingham is quiet and laidback.

Like many of his fellow competitors, he moved out of his hometown to pursue his trade at a young age.

“I always had a passion for pulling things apart and working with my hands so a trade was something I was always going to do,” he says.

Travelling and meeting new people is a favourite hobby of Brad’s and the WorldSkills experience has given him more confidence and encouraged him to put himself out there.

His advice for anyone wanting pursue a skill or trade is this: “Choose a trade that you enjoy and can see yourself doing for many years and jump at any opportunity to better your skills and showcase your talents.”
